Attorney Arnold E. Shaheen, Jr., grew up in Columbus, Ohio. He spent his youth learning the electrical trade from his father, who owned and operated an electrical construction business. In 1968 while Mr. Shaheen was in college, his parents moved to the Pataskala Area after purchasing farmland there. Mr. Shaheen obtained a Bachelor of Science In Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University in 1970. He graduated from Capital University Law School with the degree of Juris Doctorate in 1974, and became licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio that year. Mr. Shaheen opened his law practice in Pataskala in January of 1976 after serving with the Public Utilities Commission as an administrative law judge in the interim. He has been engaged in the general practice of law in Pataskala for thirty-four years. Mr. Shaheen has been married twenty-eight years to his lovely wife Jeanne. The couple has two daughters, ages 23 and 26. Education:
